Seaborne Airline’s schedule with 4 weekly flights schedule with 4 weekly flights

The new service being offered by Seaborne Airlines into Antigua and Barbuda has provided for the public its schedule of flights that became effective as of Sunday, December 13, 2015. In fact, it was on Sunday that Caribbean Times journeyed to V.C. Bird International Airport to cover the occasion of Seaborne Airlines launch. The non-stop service between the hub in San Juan’s Luis Munoz Marin International Airport and Antigua and Barbuda’s emerging hub at V.C. International Airport saw the first flight with a 34 seat Saab 340 aircraft.  The inaugural flight departed San Juan at 12:45 pm, and arrived into Antigua at 2:20 pm on Sunday afternoon.


For Tourism Minister, the Honourable Asot Michael, he considers: “The entrance of Seaborne, [as it] provides passengers with one additional option for travelling to Antigua and Barbuda, quicker and more conveniently. … As a regional hub, the more modern V.C. Bird International Airport, was extremely appealing and advantageous to Seaborne as they seek to expand their services throughout the wider Caribbean.”
